Decided to start a topic so we can all discuss the upcoming FUDGE WAR week! I've got a project in mind dealing with the American Civil War. What are you all working on? (You better be working on something. )
EDIT: I so posted this in the wrong section. DARN! Sorry Admin!

I didn't know which forum you wanted it posted in, so I created a new one. Figured we could run more theme-based events and other website-based events in the future, so may as well have a forum to promote and discuss these events plus participate in them!

I'm actually still in ye old Brainstorm mode. Writing about war in a Fantasy 101 setting is a bit like writing about magic in a Fantasy 101 setting. Its germane, but obvious. And many folks that have spent waaaay more time thinking about the combat logistics and mechanics of a fantasy world have written reams of pages on how castles aren't built to survive Dragons. Hard to find new ways to go to old wars...
So, still kicking it around in my head. Hoping an idea shakes loose during the driving to visit folks for (American) Thankgsiving.
I've a few points of interest that I want to get done. If I get Alchemquest done by War Week I'll release details on that, including mechanics. Otherwise, Threshold System exploration and a Morale Scale. I'll have details eventually, suffice to say they are both wound systems to some extent.
The [-] die.
I've noticed there is a lot of fantasy/scifi style things around so I've been working on a more down to earth idea dealing with the American Civil War for the History buffs. It would also work as a good introduction for those who love history to the FUDGE system.
@Ann,
I meant to put it in the Fudge general discussion, but this works too. Thanks!

Always remember that there are many Fudge old-timers on this site, but also people entirely new to Fudge. Content that may seem hashed to death ages ago, may be very fresh and much appreciated by folks that weren't around way back then.
